megan = artist + geek

I'm never quite sure if I'm a geeky artist or an artsy geek. I live in both realms and move between them easily, which is why I love design. Part visual, part analytical, good design is problem-solving. That's what creativity is, really: problem-solving. You have a goal and you have constraints, and design is all about finding the best way to deal with the constraints and reach the goal. I love this stuff.

I live and work in the beautiful Monadnock region of southern New Hampshire. When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me at Sequoya Technologies being a Marketing Coordinator, or perhaps taking a walk in the woods with my camera (I fancy myself an amateur photographer), or at home with my partner, pianist Robert Blake, and our little menagerie: two orange tabby cats named Taz and Tobi, and a turtle named Milo.
